SEC Pros Q1 OKC Chapter Meeting

Please join us for the upcoming Q1 meeting to learn essential career lessons from those who have achieved the pinnacle of success in the accounting profession: the current and the past chairs of the FASB, and former Board Member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. The one hour session offers 1 CPE credit.

Date:  March 28, 2019 (Thursday)

Time:  11:30am to 1:00pm (lunch provided by RGP)

Location:  Enable Midstream - 211 N Robinson Ave #1000, Oklahoma City, OK 73102 (9th floor meeting room - North Tower)

Meeting:  Registration will begin at 11:15 am.  Broadcast begins  at 11:30 am and will conclude at 12:30 pm, followed by a roundtable/networking session. 

Topic:  Leveraging your Financial Reporting Expertise on your Way Up the Ladder

The Panelists will share their advice with you—the next generation of leaders. After hearing their experience and perspectives, you will be able to:

  • List the skills you should master as you advance in your career
  • Explain how your focus should evolve as you move from manager to director to VP
  • Recognize how changes in accounting and auditing standards fit into the big picture
  • Recall how technology trends and investor preferences may affect your day-to-day responsibilities

This delayed Q1 OKC Chapter Event will be hosted at Enable Midstream downtown in the Leadership Square Building at 211 N. Robinson, OKC, OK.  The lunch meeting will be at Enable's 9th floor Meeting Room  (in the North Tower) from 11:30am – 1:00 pm.
