Chapter Notes

Welcome to the San Diego Chapter of the SEC Professionals Group!

As the Advisory Chair for the San Diego Chapter, I look forward to connecting with peers in our unique field of financial reporting. With continuous change in complex areas, such as revenue recogntion, financial systems and iXBRL, the power of sharing ideas and learning from each other becomes more and more valuable. The SEC Professionals Group gives us a unique opportunity to do just that. I hope that you’ll enjoy and benefit from getting to know your colleagues here in San Diego, as well as across the country.

This website is a good place to learn about the local meetings, connect with each other, and make suggestions for future meeting topics. We rotate the location of the local meetings and are always looking for members who would like to host, so please let me know if you are interested.

I hope you will plan to join us at our upcoming meeting. See below for more details.
